Amy Cannon, CPA is the Accountant and Bookkeeper at Impireum, where she plays a vital role in maintaining the company’s financial records and ensuring its financial health. With over a decade of experience as a CPA specializing in taxes, Amy brings a wealth of expertise to her position at Impireum.
After receiving her Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Accounting and Master of Science in Accounting from Sam Houston State University, Amy became a licensed CPA in 2014. Throughout her career, she has developed an exceptional skill set, working with high-net-worth individuals, various business entities, trusts, and handling accounting data entry for numerous clients.
In addition to providing tax return services and innovative tax planning, Amy’s contributions to Impireum extend beyond traditional accounting duties. She has extensive experience managing staff, providing training, evaluations, and mentoring, as well as assisting with recruiting and staffing. Her involvement in networking has also been invaluable in strengthening Impireum’s financial and business relationships.
Prior to joining Impireum, Amy was a Partner at a local accounting firm, where she played a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of the office. In 2023, she decided to pursue her own firm, C3 Bookkeeping & Consulting, before taking on the Accountant and Bookkeeper position at Impireum.
Amy’s dedication to her profession is evident through her active involvement in the Lion’s Club, AICPA, and Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. In her free time, she enjoys reading and traveling with her husband and son.
