While earning her degrees, she spent time volunteering with individuals on the autism spectrum and Girl Scouts of the USA. Emilie has worked at various facilities within Texas including the Marriage Family Institute, Abilene and Program Hope, Port Lavaca. She has experience running therapy groups for adolescent and geriatric populations and loves working with these individuals. Emilie sees her role as someone holding you accountable in a way that supports your goals and offers you an opportunity to examine yourself in a nonjudgmental light. Ages 12 and up are able to request appointments, as she treats individuals, couples, and families as well as various parts of the family life cycle. Her training in systemic understanding of family systems and dynamics make her better able to treat the challenges being discussed in therapy whether they are presented individually or not.
Emilie is licensed as a Marriage Family Therapist Associate in the state of Texas, as well as a member of the American Association for Marriage Family Therapy (AAMFT) and Houston Association for Marriage Family Therapy (HAMFT).
