1. Respectful Communication: Participants are expected to always communicate respectfully with each other. Disrespectful behavior, including interruptions, name-calling, or negative comments, will not be tolerated.
2. Confidentiality: What is said in the group, stays in the group. Participants agree to respect each other’s safety and privacy, ensuring that personal information shared remains confidential.
3. Supportive Environment: Be supportive and encouraging to each other. While sharing feelings and experiences is encouraged, participants should refrain from giving unsolicited advice.
4. Accept each other without expressing judgments. Everyone has a right to their own feelings and choices, and it’s important to honor these differences.
5. Active Listening: Listen to each other attentively. Give everyone an opportunity to share and avoid interrupting or having side conversations during the discussion.
6. Self-Care: Do whatever you need to do to take care of yourself. It is difficult to predict what type of trauma reactions you may experience during the sessions. Remember, individual sessions are good opportunities for follow-up and support.
7. Attendance: Attendance is crucial for the success of the program. Each session builds upon the previous one, and consistent participation is necessary to fully benefit from the group experience. If you must miss a session, please notify the facilitator in advance.
8. No Refunds: Once enrolled, participants understand that there are no refunds for the program fee. This policy is in place due to the nature of group dynamics and the commitment involved in the program.
