Psychiatrist

Position Overview

Impireum Wellness is seeking a licensed psychiatrist to join our clinical team. This full-time role offers a hybrid model, providing both in-person psychiatric services across the Houston Metro Area and telehealth services for flexibility and patient accessibility.

The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic skills, experience treating a broad range of mental health conditions, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health conditions
  • Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
  • Provide medication management and therapeutic support
  • Monitor and document patient progress
  • Collaborate with psychologists, therapists, and other clinical team members
  • Participate in clinical meetings and interdisciplinary care discussions
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Maintain accurate, compliant, and thorough medical records
  • Deliver services both in-person and via telehealth

Required Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
  • Active, unrestricted Texas Medical License
  • Active DEA Registration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently in a hybrid clinical environment

Preferred Experience

  • Experience treating diverse patient populations
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary teams

  • Ability to reliably commute within the Houston Metro Area
  • Or willingness to relocate prior to start date

Licensure & Certifications

  • BC/BE in Psychiatry (Preferred)
  • Active Texas Medical License (Required)
  • DEA License (Required)
