We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Revenue Cycle Manager to oversee and optimize our revenue cycle operations.

About the Role:

The Revenue Cycle Manager at Impireum will be responsible for the overall performance of the revenue cycle, from patient registration and billing to collections and denial management. This role requires a strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement processes, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our clients’ financial success and contribute to the growth of Impireum.

Tasks:

Manage and oversee all aspects of the revenue cycle, including billing, coding, claims submission, payment posting, denial management, and collections.
Develop and implement strategies to improve revenue cycle performance, reduce days in accounts receivable, and minimize bad debt.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, including HIPAA and other industry standards.
Manage and mentor a team of revenue cycle staff, providing training and support as needed.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient revenue cycle operations.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with payers and other stakeholders.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
Prepare and present reports on revenue cycle performance to senior management.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
5 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management.
Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement processes, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance.
Knowledge of medical coding (CPT, ICD-10) and billing practices.
Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and practice management systems.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Certifications such as Certified Revenue Cycle Professional (CRCP) are a plus.
