With a Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, MJ has always been drawn to the field of psychiatry. Her seven years of diverse medical experience have equipped her with a deep understanding of healthcare systems and a unique skill set for providing effective mental health care.

MJ’s professional journey includes a range of roles across various healthcare settings, from Emergency Department RN to Labor & Delivery RN. These experiences have underscored the importance of mental health awareness in patient care, deepening her commitment to the field. This passion culminated in her pursuit of a Master’s degree in Nursing at Walden University and graduated as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
